To Canada!

This will always be my home and native land, and I will always adore Canada, but...

My cousin and I decided today that we're moving to the UK!

We don't know where, but we have an idea of when. She graduates this year, so she's going to apply to a Uni over there. I'll join her the following summer to live there after a vacation with my best friend in the world <3 This upcoming summer we're (hopefully) going to go there and move her into a dorm. The following summer we'll find a flat for the two of us.

Why?

For both of us; we need to build new lives.

It just seems natural. I've ALWAYS loved British media. I grew up on shows such as Doctor Who, Fawlty Towers, Cornation Street, Blackadder, etc. More recently I've found Merlin. My goal? To work for BBC. Ideally, I'd love to be an actress, but I'll probably go for screen writing, makeup artistry or costume design/wardrobe.

These past few years here have been rough for me. Leaving just makes sense.

For her, it's a new start, away from painful memories. The boy she loved passed away suddenly last week. I saw her today, and along with sharing memories, we discussed the future.

This just made sense to both of us.

Maybe we're crazy.

I'm really excited.
